Thinking about starting your own business? As any seasoned entrepreneur will tell you, starting a new business is not always easy. From testing the market to accessing capital, there are many roadblocks you may encounter along the way. The Florida SBDC’s Start Smart workshop is designed to provide you with a fundamental overview of what it takes to start a business in the state of Florida.
This workshop is designed for potential entrepreneurs in the pre-venture or startup phase of establishing a new business. It is the first step in your journey toward reaching your goals with the guidance and resources that are available through the FSBDC at Indian River State College.
The Florida SBDC Network is funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Defense Logistics Agency, State of Florida, as well as other private and public partners. It is the state designated, principal provider of business assistance (288.001 Fla Statute) and is nationally accredited by the Association of SBDC’s.
